1、 Product Introduction

VDU2508J is a high-precision ranging base station based on UWB (Ultra Wideband) technology, designed with a metal waterproof shell that can meet stable operation in complex outdoor environments.

Anti collision solution for hook machine

VDU2508J supports external sound and light alarm (DC5.5mm connector 12V1A) for achieving proximity alarm function. The alarm distance can be reached through WIFI

Hotspot login management interface configuration, easy to operate to achieve alarm distance configuration.

　　The base station supports network ports and WiFi networking, making it convenient to transmit distance and alarm information back to the platform for online monitoring and early warning.

3、 Installation

　　The installation height needs to be at least 2.5m above the ground. Ensure that there is no visual obstruction of metal or cement walls between the base station and the test tag.

　　Basic requirement: 1m H>2.5.

Actual installation steps

(1) As shown in the figure below, fix the bracket on the base station housing

(2) For pole installation, after fixing the bracket, the base station body can be clamped from top to bottom along the card slot.

　　(3) Wall installation does not require U-screws, simply fix the expansion screw on the L-shaped angle iron to the wall.

Installation precautions

To achieve the best positioning effect, the following precautions should be taken when installing the base station:

1. Accurate positioning requires the installation of at least 4 base stations.

2. The installation distance of base stations shall not exceed 50 meters under unobstructed conditions, and the distance shall be appropriately reduced under obstructed conditions.

3. The installation height of the base station must be higher than the height of the human body (recommended to be around 2.5 meters).
